Wilderness Camp
OUR PURPOSE
Wilderness camp is truly a WILD experience! Campers will spend most of their time deep in the woods of Little Galilee in the company of a smaller group. Campers will spend their time learning more about Jesus through teaching times, worshipping, playing fun games, and enjoying God's creation. While each age group will be exploring different age appropriate topics, you can be confident that your child will be learning true and sound doctrines founded in the Bible. Wilderness camp is the perfect medium between the Main Camp experience and the Outpost experience.
CAMP THEME 2024
Our campers are in the midst of a spiritual battle. Sometimes it’s something small that throws off their day, and sometimes it’s something devastating and life changing. No matter the circumstances of the battle, our campers have a choice to make: will they give in and give up or will they stand firm?
In order to stand firm against temptation, we must be wearing proper the proper gear. Thankfully, God doesn’t ask us to fight alone - He promises His help. When we are equipped with God’s armor, we can fight with His strength. Summer Camp 2024 will challenge our campers to put on the whole armor of God so they can stand firm in Christ.

At Little Galilee we have invested in providing large activities that make camp a memorable experience! Whether you take a walk on our high ropes course, or take a trip down our zip-line, we make sure there is plenty of safe fun to be had!
Activities
What Campers Will Learn
Campers will learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ! Throughout each day we weave the gospel into every moment. Our goal is to make sure everyone who steps onto our camp hears the gospel story.
We remind parents and students that time at camp is great for many reasons. How often do our students get the chance to truly “unplug”? We take the opportunity to get away from distractions so we can focus on what’s important, God.
Unplug
Both campers and counselors will sleep in "Hogans" which are non-air-conditioned sleeping quarters located in the woods. These are two separate buildings that can sleep 14 campers plus 2 adults each. These are open air buildings with no electricity. Wilderness camp is the perfect medium between the Main Camp experience and the Outpost experience.
