What we believe in Scripture:
Scripture is the divinely inspired words of God found in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, is a Divine member of the Trinity, died for our sins, and rose from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
That all people are born into a sinful nature and "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Those who consciously believe that Jesus is the one and only Savior and desire salvation must repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him.
(Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)
Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life is always available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)
The divine Holy Spirit dwells in the Believer and empowers him/her for obedient service.
(Acts 2:38; John 14:15-28; Galatians 5:16-26)
The Lord expects a faithful, steadfast life of devotion from His followers. (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 6:1-6; 2 Peter 1:3- 10)
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ for His Church is our living hope. (John 14:1-3; 1 Peter 1:3-9; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
The Church is the body of Christ on Earth and exists to bring salvation to the lost and edify those who are saved.
